High-Stiffness Weight-Sensitive 3/4″ X 7/8″ Ultra High Modulus Carbon Fiber Tube
Carbon fiber is a new type of high-strength and high-modulus fiber material with carbon content above 90%, which has the characteristics of lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, high modulus, low density, no creep, super high-temperature resistance in the non-oxidizing environment, good fatigue resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, etc. It not only has the inherent intrinsic characteristics of carbon materials, but also has the softness and processability of textile fibers, and is a new generation of reinforcing fiber.
This 3/4″ x 7/8″ Ultra High modulus carbon fiber tubing is fabricated with multiple layers of high strength UHM unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg and has a 3K 2×2 twill fabric on the exterior. Ultra High modulus carbon fiber is 4X stiffer than aluminum, or 1.5x stiffer than steel. UHM is more brittle than standard modulus carbon fiber tubing. This is an excellent choice for high-stiffness, weight-sensitive applications but not the best for demanding, high-stress applications.

Why is a Carbon Fibre Stiffening Tube Good?
Carbon fiber (CF for short) is a new type of fiber material with high strength and high modulus fibers with a carbon content of more than 95%. It is a microcrystalline graphite material obtained by piling up organic fibers such as flake graphite microcrystals along the fiber axial direction and undergoing carbonization and graphitization treatments.
High tensile strength: The strength of carbon fiber is 6-12 times that of steel, and the resistance can reach more than 3000mpa. Small and light; only less than 1/4 of steel.
