We manufacture a large range of high-quality Twill & Plain Weave 100% Carbon fibre Sheets, hand finished with either a Gloss or Matte finish on one side only.

100% Carbon Fibre is very strong owing to its perfect ratio of reinforcement to matrix and pressure consolidation during curing and is manufactured to engineering tolerances.

These are perfect for model making, car Interior or exterior styling, etc. They are very light, strong & easy to cut at home for your application.

Technical Details

Quasi-Isotropic Layup

To create a more uniform distribution of strength, all our sheets are manufactured using both layers of 0°/90° and 45°/-45° oriented reinforcement in what is known as quasi-isotropic fibre orientation. Carbon fibre sheets using this layup technique offer improved stiffness across their diagonal axis and significantly improved torsional stiffness.

Laminate Composition

The matrix used is a high-performance epoxy resin that offers excellent mechanicals, clarity, and improved UV stability. The high-temperature cure maximizes the mechanical strength properties and results in a Tg (glass transition) of 80°C.

To achieve maximum stability and flatness in the sheets, we used 'balanced' laminates for all sheet thicknesses. This means that the fibre type, weight, and weave are symmetrical from the front to the back ply.

How to Cut and Shape

This carbon fibre sheet can easily be cut and finished to a high standard using simple workshop tools. Cutting and finishing carbon fibre can also be perfectly safe if you follow some basic safety precautions.
