Carbon fiber tube is made of carbon fiber composite pre-dipped into phenylethylene polyester resin and heated, solidified, and extruded (entangled).

It won't bend and will far outlast aluminum construction. The direction of the fibers and thickness of the wall minimizes flexing which makes it much more responsive and eliminates wobbles. The matte finish is ideal for ensuring the grip material stays affixed to the staff and never causes problems.
