32mm Carbon Fiber Round Tube,
12K Carbon Fiber Round Tube,
Epoxy Resin Carbon Fiber Round Tube
Industrial Carbon Fiber Round Tube - ∅ 32 mm, int. ∅ 28 mm, 2 mm thickness (2000 mm length)
Carbon Fiber Tube Description:
Round carbon fibre tube manufactured by using the pultrusion technique in which the high-performance carbon fibres are all orientated parallel to the longitudinal axis (unidirectional) and internally reinforced with more unidirectional carbon fibres laminated by using pullwingding technology to achieve greater resistance to bending and torsion.
Diameter: 32 mm; int. 28 mm
Length: 2000 mm (2m)
Thickness: 2 mm
This type of profile has a high specific mechanical resistance (related to its weight), lightness, rigidity, great resistance to fatigue and vibrations, resistance to oxidation and corrosion, low coefficient of thermal expansion and durability.
Pultrusion is a technique of continuous production of linear profiles with a constant section. This process has many similarities to extrusion, the main difference is in the feeding system: in extrusion the material is pushed through the matrix (mould), in pultrusion it is extracted from the matrix. This procedure does not allow variations in shape, sections or curves. Products that can be obtained by this process can have sections or thicknesses of up to approximately 15mm, with epoxy resins and up to 70mm with polyester resins.
Products made with this technology have excellent tensile strength characteristics due to the linear orientation of the fibres in the direction of axis of the profile; if it is also necessary to have a good transversal resistance, a woven fabric is used as a backing in specific quantities and weights.

This 3K Woven Finish tube is manufactured from alternating layers of unidirectional prepreg carbon fibre for maximum strength with the final layer swapped for 2/2 twill, 3k woven carbon fibre so that the tube has the classic appearance of woven carbon fibre (exactly the same as our carbon fibre sheets for example). This means that although the tubes are designed for demanding mechanical applications, they also look fantastic, adding a cutting-edge carbon fibre appearance to any application.
To achieve the smooth, glossy appearance the tubes are surface ground, lacquered (with high-gloss UV resistant lacquer) and then polished. The end result is a carbon fibre tube of unrivalled visual appearance making it ideally suited for use in applications where it will be seen.
Although specially laminated, ground, lacquered, and polished to produce a carbon fibre tube with a stunning appearance, our 10mm 3K carbon fibre tubes are serious tubes suitable for demanding engineering applications including robotics/automation, R/C models, UAVs, recreational equipment, motorsport, and marine.
How to Cut and Shape
This carbon fibre tube can easily be cut and finished using simple workshop tools like a hacksaw and some wet-and-dry paper. Cutting and finishing a carbon fibre tube can also be perfectly safe if you follow some basic safety precautions.
